Acroterion, Eton College
The Copper Works was commissioned by Eton College and John Simpson Architects to create a large classical architectural sculpture, referred to as an Acroterion, to sit on the roof of one of the new buildings being constructed at the college. Having struggled to find a company in the UK to produce the work, the architects pursued the project with a French firm, before eventually finding us. This complex hand crafted architectural work in copper is produced in very few places in the world. We are particularly proud of this commission, allowing us to showcase British craftsmanship at its finest.
